Girls from very young ages begin to feel self-conscious over things that they may or may not have control over. The things that society or specific organizations tell girls and women - everyone really - what they must be has an immense impact on how individuals perceive themselves. I thought, what better way to connect with my audience and to help them understand than by presenting a feeling most of them have probably gone through themselves?  ​

 

This project means a lot to me, as an animation student, as a young woman, and as an artist in general. I hope others can find comfort, empowerment, and as much joy as I have. ​
